Wall painting

IT?S VACATION!

That means I have allot of time on my hands... What better to do than get creative and clean up the house at the same time?

So I decided to do some wall painting..

Then I wanted to paint a sakura branch in another room but it's in standby since a friend might come over and help :)

So then (about a week ago) I went to a room that we use for when we have friends over and stuff... and allot of junk piles up in there, and thought "this can not go on like this!". So I cleaned everything out and organized... that's hard for me XD

The walls were an old, dull pink color :S 16 years since it was last painted O.o

After 5kg of dust and spiders I spent 2 days painting them a nice WHITE! Why use any other color...it's bound to look like crap.

I build aquariums and I like rebuilding them, mostly trying new things to fix problems...

Thanks to a "internet" friend from Deviantart "Yawnz" (http://yawnz.deviantart.com/ ), I started trying to design some T-shirts... So i'm hoping to read some feedback about what you think! =)

I can’t think…
I drop my pen on a piece of paper and watch as the black ink slowly expands like darkness over light…
Why can’t I keep my thoughts straight? It used to be so easy, everything seemed simple, the way things should be... Never took a second to appreciate it I guess.
And now… and now, as I look at the mountains covered with snow and the still countryside, frozen still by the winters cold air, I catch myself wishing something would happen, something, anything, anything at all. I then feel the winds cold bite, bringing me back to reality.
I look down at my piece of paper, the ink has spread over half the sheet…I can’t think, I can’t… Why can’t I anymore? I’m getting lost, why can’t I keep my thoughts straight?
So I walk on… where to? What for? Give me one good reason.
…
Why can’t I keep my thoughts straight?
You can’t erase the ink that has sunk deep, just like the shadows that have spread over light…
Never the less, I walk on…

Well, I'm starting graphic art... or what would you call this?...
I'm trying out a few things, trying to learn a bit, if you know any tutorials or anything that could help me, please let me know =)
For my next class project I have to make the inside of a CD album cover... Pencils only -.- but I'm going for somthing original that I'll just try to draw as the last step... jeese that sentence dosen't make any sense ^^
I'm a bit dead and forgetting what I wanted to say...

Petite parenthèse entre mes œuvres sans intérêt...

« C’est qu’on vient de se commencer, qu’on vient de se recommencer, c’est qu’on commence.»

Revenir à Ramuz, plus de quinze ans après avoir tenté de porter à la scène quelques textes. Revenir à ces deux nouvelles (« L’amour… » et « Salutation… ») déjà travaillées. Retrouver intact le plaisir sensuel de cette langue. J’ai eu envie, en relisant, de partager à nouveau ces mots que je trouve uniques, dans le rythme, dans le souffle, dans ce qu’ils disent. Des mots si « mal écrits », comme ont dit les détracteurs de Ramuz dans les années vingt, notamment dans la Gazette de Lausanne où sont publiées les nouvelles qui composent le recueil « Salutation paysanne ». L’auteur dit même, dans la fameuse lettre à Grasset dans laquelle il explique son rapport à la langue française, qu’on l’accuse non seulement d’écrire mal, mais encore d’écrire mal « exprès », (d’ailleurs, en écrivant la citation ci-dessus, le correcteur de « Word » me signale des erreurs…). Ecrire mal : aujourd’hui encore, chacun s’accorde à dire que Ramuz n’écrit pas si mal que cela, mais l’image d’un écrivain « du terroir » reste pourtant tenace. Depuis toujours, ce n’est pas cela que j’entends en le lisant, en le faisant lire/dire. J’entends la virtuosité, l’audace, et je vois la couleur du ciel.

Ce projet tentera de faire entendre (et voir, VOIR) le charnel de cette écriture. Quelques jeunes acteurs diront ces deux nouvelles dans des choeurs que j’espère inspirés et brûlants. Car ces mots-là disent comme jamais le souffle inouï de la découverte amoureuse. Et on ne dit jamais cela de Ramuz, on ne dit pas cette manière vertigineusement lyrique et violente de parler du coeur. Ces mots-là disent donc comment (re)voir le monde, ils disent comment l’autre nous repeint le paysage sous nos yeux. Nous nous plongerons dans cette langue comme on plonge/on bascule avec l’aimé(e), et nous essaierons, au-delà des mots, de dire le vertige délicieux et douloureux du début de l’amour. En racontant, en écoutant les musiques de nos débuts à nous, en inventant la bande-son de ces moments-là, en essayant (naïvement, c’est peine perdue…) de montrer/jouer le fracas indicible des premiers instants.

I drew this after having to draw stupid crogs for half a semester in art class -.-

Le vent soufflait sur la plaine et soulevait les cendres la recouvrant. Ces traces s'étiraient en longs rubans gris dans le ciel. C'étaient des lambeaux de vies, la seule chose qui restait des hommes après leur mort.
Il était difficile de distinguer quoi que ce soit dans ce brouillard opaque, seules quelques trouées permettaient d'apercevoir un bout de ciel d'un blanc laiteux au-dessus des nuages orageux.
Le sol était parsemé de monticules en haut desquels se trouvaient des êtres à la nature inconnue, c'est pourquoi la légende leur attribuait le nom de "Dieux de la Mort", bien qu'ils ne fussent pas immortels.
Il s'agissait de têtes faites de ferraille, des câbles s’étiraient et s’implantaient dans le sol.
Ils étaient constitués de pièces métalliques recouverts d’une sorte d’ossature et une mécanique complexe, dont on entendait des roues dentées qui s’emboîtent, leur donnant vie et ainsi une intelligence.
La fonction de ces êtres était de programmer la mort des humains, en effet quand celle de quelqu'un était proche les câbles s'enroulaient au-dessus de la tête et formaient un chiffre, l‘heure de la mort.
Les roues se mettaient alors à tourner, s'emboîtaient les unes dans les autres dans un grincement sinistre. Puis une fumée argentée s'élevait et rejoignait les autres déchirures dans le ciel.
Ce travail demandait une énergie incroyable à ces choses mi-dieux mi-machines, c'est pourquoi au bout d'un certain temps, ils mouraient.
Les câbles se rétractaient alors.
Quand ils mouraient, la terre se fissurait tout autour de cet enchevêtrement de métal. Ils se décomposaient lentement, s’enfonçant sous les cendres.
Seules les roues restaient en dehors, se détachaient et roulaient sur elles-mêmes jusqu'à tomber définitivement au sol…les seules restes de ces créatures étranges. "
